Valley Hope Foundation — Volunteer Liability Waiver & Release

In consideration of being permitted to participate as a volunteer with Valley Hope Foundation ("VHF"), I agree to the following: I acknowledge that volunteer activities may involve physical labor, including but not limited to debris removal, construction, and disaster response, and may carry inherent risks. I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by VHF staff. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with volunteer activities. I release VHF, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from my participation. I certify that I am physically capable of performing the volunteer activities for which I am signing up. I understand that VHF may photograph or video my participation for promotional purposes, and I grant permission for such use. This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
